Detailed Travel Program : 6 Day Northern Vietnam Tour  to Hanoi city, Halong bay & Ninh Binh

Day 1 : Hanoi Arrival. Overnight in 3* Minasi Premium Hotel

Welcome to Vietnam’s the most cultural city: Hanoi Capital

Upon your arrival at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi City, our driver will meet you at the arrival terminal with your signed name : Mr/Ms ……………… , following your flight number …………. landing at …………. He will warmly pick you up and transfer to the hotel in Hanoi city ( check-in time : after 14:00 PM)

Check-in the hotel & be free at your own leisure

Day 2. Hanoi  city tour. Overnight in 3* Minasi Premium Hotel (B,L)

8.00- 8.30 AM: Get picked up by our friendly guide and start to explore Hanoi City

08.45 AM: Arrive at Tran Quoc Pagoda located in the West Lake. It is the oldest pagoda in Ha Noi built in the 6th century.

09.30 AM: Visit Ho Chi Minh complex, you have a chance to see the embalmed body of  Ho Chi Minh then walk around the garden to see 2 houses where he lived & worked from 1954 to 1969. Then visit One Pillar Pagoda where worships the Godess of Mercy – It is the most unique pagoda in the world

• Should dress modestly by covering from shoulders to knees when visiting Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, temples, pagodas…
• Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays.
•  Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed for at least 2 months (15th June -15th August) for annual maintenance but still can take pictures Mausoleum and visit that area

11.15 AM: Visit Vietnam Ethnology Museum to learn about the culture of 54 ethnic groups living in the whole country of Vietnam

Special Note: we will visit the Women’s Museum instead of the Ethnology Museum closed on Mondays

12.45 PM: Have lunch at our restaurant. You have an opportunity to enjoy Vietnamese cuisine with 8 delicious dishes.

14.00-14.15 PM: Continue to visit the Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam, established in the 11 century

15.15: Leave for Hoa Lo Prison Museum which was originally used by the French colonists in Indochina  for political prisoners , and later by North Vietnam for U.S. prisoners of war during the Vietnam War. During this later period, it was known to American POWs as the “Hanoi Hilton”

16.15 -16.30: Tour finishes & get transferred back to the hotel

Day 3.Hanoi – Ninh Binh, visit Hoa Lu, Tam Coc & Mua cave – Hanoi. Overnight in 3* Minasi Premium Hotel (B,L)

• 07:30 – 7:45 AM –Tour guide will meet you at your hotel/stay and start 120km comfortable bus journey through verdant landscape. Stop over for a rest on the way.
• 10:30 –Visit Hoa Lu Ancient Citadel with King Dinh Temple dating back to the 17th Century.
• 13:00 –Enjoy the lunch at our restaurant with the great local cuisines
• 13:30 –Take sampan boat trip in Tam Coc which owned and rowed by locals, gently sailing along Ngo Dong river, capturing the wonderful scenery of Karst hills, rice fields, and peaceful villages, and passing “Hang Ca”, “Hang Hai” and “Hang Ba”.
• 15:30 –Arrive at Mua Cave and start an amazing trek up to the top of Ngoa Long mountain for watching the spectacular rice valley with precious view of the nature.
• 17:15 –Return to our bus and then come back to Hanoi.
• 19:30 – Arrive in Hanoi & get drop off at the hotel & be free at your leisure.

Day 4 : Hanoi – Halong – Lan Ha bay on La Casta Cruise. Overnight on 5*La Casta Cruise (B,L,D)

Today’s journey is to Lan Ha bay – the less touristic & untouched one than Ha Long bay.

08:00 – 8:15 AM The shuttle bus with driver will pick you up at the hotel ( please, be on time & ready at the hotel’s lobby) & takes 3 hours drive along Red River Delta on Hanoi – Halong Highway to Halong city.

11:30 AM. Arrive La Casta Halong Office in Tuan Chau Harbour, Halong, Quang Ninh

12:30 Tourists get on the ship and check in the cabin. The crew brief a summary of the schedule and safety regulations while having a welcome drink.

13:30 Lunchtime. Tourists have lunch meals that cooked by 5-star chefs while enjoying the spectacular Halong scenery.

15:45 Tourists have many choices to experience: Rest on sundeck/ private balcony, relax in the 4-season jacuzzi (outdoor swimming pool), explore Ba Trai Dao area (Three Peaches Area) and swim on the clear green beach, visit the natural lagoon or kayak on the bay.

17:00 Tourists join the Sunset party (with drinks, fruit, cakes) or free to entertainment

19:00 Dinner time. The premium buffet is served with a variety of local seafood and other delicious dishes.

20:00 Tourists play a “lucky game” – Squid fishing or chill at the bar with a cocktail or free to retire.

Day 5 : Lan Ha – Halong bay on cruise – Hanoi. Overnight in 3* Minasi Premium Hotel (B, L)

It is our suggestion that you get up early for a peaceful view of the bay when the sun is rising up & continue with Lan Ha bay exploration.

• 06:30 Breakfast time. Enjoy sunrise with a cup of tea or coffee. Tourists have bread, noodle,… at the restaurant.
• 08:15 Tourist visit Ao Ech area (Frog Lake area) – King Kong filming location (in 2018), free to kayak around the area and explore the exotic bay.
• 09:30 Check-out room and pay the bill
• 10:15 Brunch time. Tourists have meals with those cooked by special recipes on the way back to the harbour. Relax on the cruise.
• 11:30 Check out the cruise. Disembark at the harbor, where the shuttle bus with driver will pick you up then drive back to Hanoi city.
• 14:30 – 15:00: Arrive in Minasi Premium hotel. Check -in the hotel & be free at your own relaxation

Day 6 : Hanoi Departure. (B)

See you again in Vietnam
